Selection and reservation of state registration number plates already in the Drivers Electronic Cabinet

New online service of service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. This has not happened yet, but everyone was waiting. In Ukraine, it is now possible to choose and book a license plate for a vehicle online.

Reservation of license plates is available in the Drivers Electronic Cabinet in the Electronic Services section.

"We continue to make public services more accessible. Reforming state services even during war is possible. And this is another step towards the implementation of the online vehicle re-registration service in the future," said the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Ihor Klymenko.

Often buyers want a certain combination of numbers or letters and numbers. For the possibility of choosing any combination of numbers, except for the specified one, there is now a payment — 360 UAH, previously it was only for the specified combination of numbers — from 4,800 to 36,000 UAH.

Now, if a car owner or buyer wants to get exactly the desired combination, then before visiting the service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, there is an opportunity not only to see which number plates are available in this particular service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, but even to choose and order a reservation of a number plate .

How does the online license plate booking service work?

To begin with, you should log in to the drivers electronic account using one of the convenient methods: banking, Diya.Signature or electronic signature.

The online service allows you to reserve a license plate already produced at the service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. He will wait there for up to 10 days until he is attached to a certain vehicle.

The new functionality allows you to choose the region of Ukraine, the service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the type of vehicle and get acquainted with all free combinations in real time.

You can order the service by type of vehicle: cars or trucks, buses, trailers or semi-trailers, motorcycles, mopeds. One vehicle — one number plate.

If within 10 calendar days the customer of the reservation has not applied for the re-registration service, the cancellation of the reservation occurs automatically. And the number plate goes back to the free list and can be selected by another person for their vehicle.

You can get a reserved license plate at the service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, where it is stored at the same time as the vehicle registration/re-registration service.

How much does selection and booking cost?

The estimated cost of the online service includes:

360 UAH for the desired combination of numbers or from 4,800 to 36,000 UAH for certain combinations of numbers (depends on the customers choice), possible commission of the payment system or bank.

Then the following payments are paid separately:

10.8 hryvnias for each day of license plate reservation (maximum — 10 days);
about UAH 300 for a license plate (special metal products, the cost depends on the region and the type of vehicle), UAH 200 for the administrative service of vehicle registration/re-registration at the service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs;
UAH 312 for a vehicle registration certificate form;
payment system or bank commissions are possible.

Number plates are attached to the car only during the registration process with the vehicle. The car owner will receive a new vehicle registration certificate and number plates at the service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, where they were booked.

On the initiative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, thanks to the cooperation of the Main Service Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and SE "INFOTECH", such an online service appeared today for the first time in Ukraine. The request from car owners who were waiting for a reservation has been fulfilled. Availability of public services is European integration.
